- improved functionality
- additional features
- ease of dispensing
- alternative and cheaper materials
- any other specific requirement defined by the client
Usually the design of the package proceeds concurrently with the
manufacturability of the package:
- for sample run, and
- for economical production.
At the end of the program, we will have the package as well as the
concept and the layout of the machine. Proof-of-principle work for
the machine is also done simultaneously as required. Often the
machine platform is an available commercial machine which will
require modifications to manufacture the new package.
